December issue, Optics in
2011, and showcasing your
work online through a video,
figure animation or other
multimedia tool.
Optics in 2011 allows readers to access, in a single source, summaries of cutting-edge optics research reported in
the peer-reviewed press. We strive to emphasize areas that created substantial interest in the optical community
during the course of the year, and to represent the tremendous breadth of the ;eld. Please submit your 500-word
summary with ;ve or fewer references, a single ;gure, and any online multimedia components you wish to share
through OSA’s online submission system (ADS) by August 31, 2011. If you include multimedia ;les with your
submission, please send us a separate e-mail at opn@osa.org to let us know.
