High Resolution CMOS Machine Vision Camera for Inspection, Robotics and Medical or Scientific Imaging Viewbits, the industrial cameras division of CMI, announced that they are now shipping their new high speed, high resolution, 12 megapixel CMOS ma- chine vision camera. Iyeron is a compact shock-resistant camera with a 1.9-inch CMOS monochrome pro- gressive scan sensor. The camera offers HXGA 4096 (H) 3 3072 (V) pixel resolution at a full frame speed of 25 frames per second (fps). Until recently only linescan cameras offered such horizontal resolutions. Iyeron features extremely high resolution and a high signal-to-noise ratio. It is designed for high speed video capture, factory automation, machine vision, robotics, military uses and
medical or scientific imaging.
Pickering Interfaces Introduces
New LXI High Isolation RF
Multiplexer
Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range
of LXI compliant products with the introduction of a new LXI High Isolation RF Multiplexer, the 60-722. The 60-722 is a 75 Ω RF
Multiplexer featuring very high isolation and
crosstalk performance. Available as a single
or a dual 12: 1 multiplexer, the 60-722 has a
BW of greater than 1 GHz and a typical isolation and crosstalk performance in excess
of 100 dB. The LXI Class C compliant device
uses F Type connectors, making it ideal for
use in testing coaxial home network systems
and video distribution components. The
60-722 is provided in a 2U rack mountable
case. The LXI Class C compliant interface
allows simple Ethernet control of the multiplexer with local or remote access.

CODE V 10. 2 Delivers
Enhanced Ease of Use
CODE V 10. 2, the newest release of
optical design software from Optical
Research Associates (ORA), delivers
a number of enhancements that
simplify its use and provide greater
flexibility for users. For example,
CODE V 10. 2 introduces improved
ray tracing algorithms that increase
robustness when designing optical
systems with extreme aspheres,
hyper-hemispherical fields of view (fisheye lenses), and highly tilted components. Most
importantly, these new algorithms maintain the fast ray tracing speeds for which CODE
V is well known. Plus, custom macro writing is simplified in CODE V 10. 2, which now
empowers users to specify any appropriate external program as the default text editor.
CODE V 10. 2 delivers expanded graphical output options, including the use of smarter
defaults for producing optical system drawings with the View Lens feature.

Optikos Corporation Announces the
BBS-200 Blackbody Source
Optikos Corporation’s newly BBS-200 Blackbody Source is a reference source of
infrared radiation similar in geometry to the primary standard of the National Physi-
cal Laboratory (U.K.). The blackbody is designed to emit the maximum pos-
sible flux at any given temperature. It is used to make a range of important
measurements in the 2-14 µm thermal wavebands and is particularly useful
for calibrating thermal imagers and radiometers. The BBS-200 Blackbody
is heated and cooled by a recirculating water bath connected to it with
insulated hoses with self-sealing quick-disconnect connectors. The BBS-
200 features a double-helix water jacket in which water is circulated in the
cylindrical heat exchanger from the front to the back and from the back to
the front simultaneously so as to minimize thermal gradients along the cavity.
